The BVI is blessed with some of the best sailing waters in the world. The RBVIYC runs cruising events to get members out on the water and sample some of this natural beauty.
We are also pleased to offer bareboat charters of IC24 keelboats (crusing and racing) and long weekends for 6-8 berth yachts. We have negotiated discounted rates on behalf of our members and these are available for download here.
Most events are day sails that leave in the morning, and return late afternoon. We do occasionally run weekend events as well, which allows us to go a little further afield.
No sailing experience is necessary to participate in these events, and you do not have to get involved in the sailing unless you wish to do so. You can spend the whole day without pulling a rope if that is your wish. Sunbathing on the foredeck maybe more to your liking.
We visit fantastic beaches such as Dead Mans Bay on Peter Island, snorkelling spots such as The Caves at Norman Island, and everyone on the BVI should visit the famous Willy T at least once!
